Meet Dr. Jason Burckhard

Your Local Minot ND Orthodontist

Dr. Jason Burckhard, DDS, grew up right here in Minot, ND, and attended Minot High School and Minot State University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in biology. He went on to complete dental school at the University of Minnesota and trained in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, entering practice in 2009.

With over 15 years of orthodontic experience, Dr. Burckhard specializes in delivering personalized, effective care. His journey started in the Twin Cities metro and Children’s Hospital Minneapolis, but his passion always brought him back home to serve Minot as your trusted Minot ND orthodontist .

Outside the office, Dr. Burckhard is deeply committed to the Minot community—as a volunteer coach for youth sports, serving on the Minot State University Board of Regents, and formerly leading the Minot Dental Society. He’s also a husband, proud father of three, avid gardener and landscaper, Green Bay Packers fan, and active volunteer.

  • Fun fact: My husband and I are a host family for the Minot Hot Tots every summer.
  • Something you love about your job: I love the atmosphere at our office—from the first patient of the day to the last, we try to make sure every patient feels important and valued. And we have fun doing it!

  • Something you love about your job: I enjoy seeing and meeting new people and getting to know the amazing families we treat at our office. Visiting with them is a highlight of my day.
